Winding Bay is one of the best turtle spots on Eleu IMO. Haven't *not* seen them there. Best place to look for them is to take Winding Bay Drive and go left at the fork away from the houses. That points you to Crossing Bluff Beach (others may know it as Sand Quarry Beach, I believe), but don't go all the way to the end. There are two access spots to Winding Bay (on your right) towards the end of that road. You'll be at the northern tip of the bay. Juvenile turtles love to mill about in the shallows there where it's protected by the northern part of the rocky shoreline.
Spider Caves are reached by driving south through the Rock Sound settlement. There's a lone church on the left. Across the street from that you will see a Bahamas Heritage Site sign that unfortunately faces the church rather than the road in either direction so it's hard to see when driving. That heritage site is the Boiling Hole, which is an ocean hole. Continue following the trail past the hole and after a short walk you'll come to the caves. Pretty sure there's a ladder there.
Never Miss a Beach!
