Has anyone found a way to repel no-see-ups?

I've found the only thing to be truly effective is bug spray with deet. I personally use something called Ben's with either 80% or 100% deet in it. What you can also do is avoid bites. Use coverups especially at dawn and dusk. Long pants. Long sleeved shirts. Socks. Don't give them anywhere to bite. And, if you do get bit, use an afterbite stick immediately so that you don't itch and aggravate the bites. Finally, air conditioning makes them go dormant. Breeze from fans keeps them from landing. A good solid outdoor breeze is your best friend! Others will tell you that vitamin B regimens along with taking Benadryl a few weeks before will help. Some people report success with that while others not so much. Best of luck!
